Digital nol card use on Samsung smartphones doubles since launch
RTA announced a surge in the user base of the nol Pay App, surpassing 950,000 users. This increase is mirrored in the sale of digital cards through Samsung smartphones, which have exceeded 6,000 cards, a 100% rise compared to the previous three years.

Announcing new dedicated Bus and Taxi Lanes
RTA has endorsed a plan to construct dedicated lanes for buses and taxis extending 13.1 km on six key streets—Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, 2nd of December, Al Satwa, Al Nahda, Omar bin Al Khattab, and Naif Streets. Scheduled for completion between 2025 and 2027.

Completion of construction works of internal roads at Margham, Lehbab, Al Lesaili, and Hatta
RTA has completed construction works on the internal roads and streetlighting project at Margham, Lehbab, Al Lesaili, and Hatta. The project works spanned 35 km: 18 km of roadwork, and the addition of lighting poles along another 17 km of existing streets

Opening new 7 km cycling tracks in Al Khawaneej and Mushrif
RTA opened new cycling tracks have been in Al Khawaneej and Mushrif extending 7 km to connect with the existing tracks in the two districts, which already span 32 km.
