Launching lifespan extension inspection initiative for commercial vehicles
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has recently unveiled an initiative aimed at extending the lifespan of commercial vehicles owned by companies and entities registered in Dubai.

Completion of road widening works over 1 km on two sites in Al Jaddaf and Business Bay
The first location involved widening Al Khail Road over 600 metres at Al Jaddaf by adding a new lane to increase traffic flow towards Deira. The second location involved widening Al Khail Road at the entrance to Business Bay by adding a new 435-metre lane

Completion of construction works of internal roads at Margham, Lehbab, Al Lesaili, and Hatta
RTA has completed construction works on the internal roads and streetlighting project at Margham, Lehbab, Al Lesaili, and Hatta. The project works spanned 35 km: 18 km of roadwork, and the addition of lighting poles along another 17 km of existing streets

Opening new 7 km cycling tracks in Al Khawaneej and Mushrif
RTA opened new cycling tracks have been in Al Khawaneej and Mushrif extending 7 km to connect with the existing tracks in the two districts, which already span 32 km.

Opening Al Majasimi and Al Wasl Road Intersection
RTA has inaugurated a new signalised junction at Al Majasimi intersection and Al Wasl Road, situated between Umm Suqeim Street and Al Thanya Street.
